Pay: Starts at $16.00 per hour, based on experience

Blue Sky Counseling is currently seeking a per diem Recovery Coach. The Recovery Coach supports people working through their recovery process from a supportive place of personal experience.

Position Overview
This position is a crucial member of an interdisciplinary team working primarily with people experiencing Opioid Use Disorder and brings the perspective of recovery experience to a team made up of counselors and medication-assisted treatment providers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Use relevant and appropriate personal recovery experience to support others in individual and group settings
  • Build relationships within recovery communities and connect people with available programming
  • Share the agency mission and help individuals access care
  • Assist clients with navigating services and direct them to appropriate staff as needed
  • Provide professional, compassionate and non-judgmental customer service

Qualifications

  • Personal experience in recovery and willingness to disclose that story when relevant and appropriate
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • High degree of professionalism
  • Positive attitude and ability to create an understanding, non-judgmental environment

Position Overview
Blue Sky Counseling is seeking a full-time Administrative Assistant based out of our Waterville location to support daily operations across all locations. This role helps ensure smooth access to care and serves as a first point of contact for individuals seeking services, families, community partners, referral agencies and internal staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the initial point of contact for incoming calls, walk-ins and referrals
  • Assist individuals with intake, access to care and connection to the appropriate staff
  • Schedule appointments and maintain accurate records
  • Provide clerical and administrative support to clinical and office staff
  • Communicate professionally with clients, families, community providers and internal team members
  • Support efficient office operations across multiple locations

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; college coursework preferred
  • Two years of customer service experience in an unrelated field, or one year of experience in a related field
  • Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
  • Empathy, accountability and an understanding of substance use and recovery
  • Excellent organization, multitasking and ability to follow established procedures
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and ability to learn electronic medical records and scheduling systems
  • Familiarity with basic office equipment and phone systems
  • Positive attitude, teamwork skills and a collaborative approach

Treatment is provided through both in-person and telehealth services, and we work to match each counselor’s preferences, modalities and strengths with the programs that best fit their skills and the needs of the individuals we serve.

  • Support Driver Education Evaluation Program (DEEP) services
  • Provide individual substance use counseling
  • Work independently and collaboratively with counselors, medication providers, recovery coaches and administrative staff
  • Develop community relationships and partner with local organizations
  • Provide safe, supportive and trauma-informed care

  • CADC or LADC required
